Meet the Bidwell Family
Scott and Monica Bidwell are first generation farmers along with their daughter and two sons. They met 20 years ago at Murray State (Go Racers!) and married in 2003. Their entire married life has been devoted to vocational camp ministry in Western Kentucky and Georgia, as well as two years living in Haiti as missionaries. Now, the Lord has brought them back home to the Purchase to begin a new adventure in multi-vocational ministry!
As they launch Bidwell Family Farms and Harvest Crate, they will continue in ministry with their local church and several non-profits. Scott enjoys farming, but also loves the technical side of leveraging technology to launch Harvest Crate. Monica enjoys spending time on the farm with her family and working part-time with foster and adoptive families through a non-profit called Chosen. The Bidwells’ farming adventures include raising hogs, chickens, rabbits, and goats, as well as raised bed and in-ground gardening. To add a little fun, they also breed Goldendoodles!
